Do you do one-time cleanings?
Yes. One-time cleanings include move-ins and move-outs, spring-cleaning, service prior to a big event and other non-recurring services. All one-time services are ESTIMATES. If additional time is needed you will have the option to authorize our cleaners to continue to clean and your price will then be adjusted accordingly. Our cleaners will NOT spend additional time cleaning WITHOUT your approval.
What do we do the first time cleaning?
On the first time Maid In The IE comes to clean your home often it will take additional time to ensure the highest quality of service. For an average size home (approx. 1500 sq. ft.) that hasn't been thoroughly cleaned, it could take almost double the average time to get to through the deep cleaning that requires extra effort. This could take from 6 to 10 hours or longer depending on the condition of the home. After the initial cleaning, maintenance cleaning it is much faster. Average is then 4 to 6 hours for one person to your clean home, of course depending on how often we return to do services.
What is the cost of my cleaning?
Cleaning fees are based on the distance, size and condition of your home. When you receive the initial estimate, it is just that an estimate. Once the cleaner enters your home, they will give you an estimate of how long the cleaning should take. If the actual time needed increases, our staff will continue to clean ONLY if you authorize additional time, and you approve the price being adjusted accordingly. We will not spend additional time cleaning without your prior approval. The first time or one time customer’s fees are slightly higher and if you need routine cleaning we will offer a discounted rate.
What cleaning supplies do we use?
Legacy of Clean products, oven cleaner (varies), Comet and/or Ajax, stainless steel cleaner (varies), furniture polish (varies), and Murphy Oil Soap.
